The Sugar Land Legacy Foundation is reaching out to help local small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, offering $1,000 for a variety of needs.
The funds are limited so not all applications for funding will be honored.
Open to businesses within the Sugar Land city limits, the funds can be used:
to create an online platform.
for marketing consulting service and/or advertisements.
an in-person contactless payment system.
Business owners have defined criteria for obtaining the funds, including:
having an existing business since March 1, 2019, with fewer than 50 employees.
be able to “demonstrate adverse business impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
be in good standing with the city of Sugar Land
