Friends looked at Acton’s Paul McMahon twice when he said he wanted to spread chocolate happiness through his business The Happy Chocolatier – but he did want to do just that.

McMahon had been making chocolate truffle cubes for friends and family in his home kitchen for years before he decided to turn it into a business back in 2011.

“It occurred to me one day that it always brought a smile,” he said. “People were legitimately happy and excited about it.”
