CULVER CITY, CA — Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch, a longstanding, Halloween tradition in Culver City, recently announced it was not going to operate its pumpkin patch extravaganza for 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the seasonal business said “Mr. Bones @ Home” plans were underway for delivery options and virtual events.

That decision was rescinded Thursday.

“After careful thought and planning, we have realized that we will not be able to open in any capacity in 2020 as we had hoped,” managers said.

“We originally thought we would be able to provide a pumpkin patch at-home service,” the company wrote on Facebook, “however, the pieces did not fall together in the way that we had planned. Unfortunately we won’t be opening this year in any capacity.”
